Allegedly controversial businessman Peter Ridsdale is on board to become the 'saviour' of Plymouth Argyle. Ridsdale has resided over somewhat less salubrious tenures at Leeds United, which saw them dip into 3rd tier football, Barnsley where the club was nearly liquidated, and Cardiff City where he bank rolled others' money leading them to their recent problems. Thus, the news that Peter has potentially joined the board has not sat well with some supporters, although we know nothing about what his position may be, whereas others are saying to give him a chance. At the positions the Pilgrims are in, there is no room to manoeuvre and one wrong step will cause the final plunge.
